Baby Maximus in a Cloud

For Ryan and Pearl Opena:  Welcoming Baby Maximus aka Kidlat to the Christian world!!! This Christening cake inspired me to get back into decorating and perfecting tiered cakes again.  Bottom layer is a chocolate buttercream cake with chocolate filling. Second layer is red velvet cake. For finishing touches, I surrounded the cake with yummy marshmallows.

I tried out a new mango cake recipe for Levy and May Ann Hilado's new baby boy!!! It turned out to be a pretty good surprise.  This mango cake recipe, however, is not advisable for structured cakes =)  Keepin' it simple this time.. Looking for more delicious recipes!!!

As we bid farewell to one of our dearest coworker in the Emergency Department, we wish him all the best as he takes on the new challenges and excitement as  the Patient Care Director of Hemodialysis Unit of New York Presbyterian Hospital. Congratulations to you Robin Ferrer! You will surely be missed. Here's my simple gesture of appreciation for the short and sweet time we had with you in the ED. We're proud of you!
